First Four Legged Customers Welcomed Into Birchen Grove’s Newest Dog Grooming Salon

North Londons’ newest dog grooming salon has opened it’s doors, welcoming pooches of all breeds and sizes into its location at Birchen Grove Garden Centre.

The Muddy Paw brought its dog grooming and wellness services to the area from 25th April, operating from a newly refurbished salon within the popular centre. The Birchen Grove premises is amongst a series of other upcoming site openings, with stores in Carlisle, Andover, Chesterfield and the business’ first location in Northampton already tending to canines of all sizes and breeds.

Services at the Birchen Grove store are provided by a newly recruited team of professional groomers. Tracey Nolan and Amy Zanfardino will be leading services at the salon, providing grooming expertise and upholding The Muddy Paw’s ethos of pet wellness.

The salon offers everything from nail clipping, to brushing, bathing and blow-dry’s, as well as special ‘puppy pamper’ bundles — designed to help young dogs become accustomed to grooming from a young age, while also boosting their social skills.

Along with essential grooming services, the salon also boasts an extra special offering in the form of ‘dog spa days’ — a selection of add-on treatments that give pooches a true pamper. Owners can choose from facials, pawdicures, and mud baths to treat their dogs to a relaxing refresh, post grooming session.

James Rubython, owner of The Muddy Paw shared his excitement ahead of the upcoming opening: “We’re proud to be bringing such a standout, specialised range of services to the ‘pet parents’ of Birchen Grove, and we’re confident that our dog-friendly spa treatments will be a firm favourite!

We introduced the spa treatment menu to demonstrate our commitment to pet wellness — building the necessary trust with each dog we groom can help us to understand their sense of wellbeing, with the potential to even spot signs of any underlying health concerns. Our team cares for each dog in an individual, personalised manner, and this truly sets our service apart.”

The team will take every owner through an initial consultation with their pooch to get the best understanding of their unique needs, helping to ensure that the service each dog receives is a personalised, positive experience.
